"My Boo" is a song by the hip-hop group Ghost Town DJ's released as a popular bass music R&B on Jermaine Dupri's So So Def label, on the album So So Def Bass All-Stars. The song, an invite by a female to a male suitor, blended R&B style vocals with a high-tempo electronic beat. The song was written by Carlton "Carl Mo" Mahone and Rodney "Kool Kollie" Terry, and was included on both volumes of So So Def Bass All-Stars I&II. Back ground vocals was Patrick Smith, lead singer was Virgo Williams, who had 2 additional solo songs on So So Bass All-Star II "Apple Pie" & "Slick Partna". Furthermore, Virgo provided her solo efforts on the last installment of Jermaine Dupri So So Def Vol III, titled "What It Is".

In 2005, the song was interpolated on Cam'ron & The Diplomats second album together as, Diplomatic Immunity 2 album titled "I Wanna Be Your Lady". In 2007, the song was interpolated on Pitbull and Lloyd's "Secret Admirer". In 2009, the song was sampled in the So So Def Mix of "H.A.T.E.U." by Mariah Carey. A dance remix cover was done in 2009 by the group American Dream Team[1]. A slowed down witch house remix was released by Balam Acab[2] in 2011.
The Brooklyn based band Friends released a cover of "My Boo" as the B-side to their single "I'm His Girl" released on October 31st 2011.[3]
